Junk Yard Dog

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

You know how in the movies there’s always that mean Rottweiler guarding all the junk in the yard? Okay, well we have one of our own Junk Yard Dogs, but she’s not mean at all.

Her name is Emma & she’d be the cutest thing you’d see in the world. She runs around all of the Alloy Used Wheels & Hubcaps we have here in our warehouse, gets along with all of the employees, & even guards us… obviously. We’re not entirely sure of what breed she is, but we do know that we all love her.

Emma works here like the rest of us; only she doesn’t answer the phones. She gives her own little greeting when people come to our store & makes them feel “welcome”; or we hope she does.

In a nutshell, Emma is the best dog ever (:

Thanks for reading,
Mykalanne and Emma.

How to use our “Used Parts Request”

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

We make it so easy for you to find a used part from a Junk Yard site. Okay, say you need a part for your car (since most junkyards only carry parts for cars) like a Head Light ; we have this little form that you need to fill out that’s called a Used Parts Request . All you need to include is your name, e-mail, & the information on your vehicle.

We are definitely not like those people who keep sending you stuff through your e-mail. We don’t like it when people do it to us, so why would we put you through that pain; you know? Anyway, after all this is filled out, you provide your vehicle information & what parts you need.

We eventually get this form & do our best to help you locate that part that you desperately need; while keeping a smile on our face, like this one –> (:

Always here to help,
Mykalanne.

“What do Junk Yards do?”

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

They make this Earth a better place to live for all of us! I am not even kidding.

If you think about it, Junk Yards collect a lot of metal, aluminum, steel, & everything else that you can possibly imagine. If it’s a Dodge Wreckers Salvage Yard, when they don’t sell the used parts, they recycle it; that’s how we get our soda cans, paper clips, & even our wheels on our cars. I bet you didn’t think about that, huh? Even if they have old newspaper, I’ve seen little pen / pencil cups that are made out of recycled newspaper!

Isn’t it weird how when we have the lowest expectations for some things, they end up exceeding our expectations to infinity & beyond?

Learning something new everyday,
Mykalanne
